Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Earn squad to own end-to-end money movement, from payment services to checkout and payouts. You’ll work across the stack, improving reliability and performance for creators monetizing their Linktree presence.

You’ll partner with product, design, finance and partnerships, apply AI to tooling, and mentor peers. Based in Los Angeles or San Francisco, you’ll work hybrid from one of our offices with a focus on correctness and customer impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering shipping production full-stack features.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Hands-on experience with payments, billing or subscriptions with correctness and idempotency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack features across the Earn surface, including checkout and payouts.
• Ensure end-to-end money movement correctness, including idempotent charge handling and reconciliation.
• Integrate and maintain payment and commerce partners with proper auth and webhook handling.
• Instrument features using data to drive fixes and improvements (conversion, churn, failed payments).
