Job summary

Experience in web applications, Node/Express, React, and Postgres is desired. Familiarity with payment processors like Stripe is a plus, and compensation ranges from $140,000 to $260,000 in USD with equity for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including building and shipping web applications.
• Independent and autonomous with strong product sense and intuition.
• Passionate about building a better business model for the internet.

Responsibilities

• Develop the core payment surfaces and backend systems on Substack.
• Own your work from concept to implementation, experimentation and measurement.
• Work with TypeScript (Node/Express and React) and Postgres; experience with payments processors (Stripe) is a plus.
