Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design, build, and evolve scalable web platforms across marketing, customer engagement, advisor experience, and growth initiatives. You will work with React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes, owning features from concept to production while maintaining security, performance, and reliability.

You will mentor teammates, participate in architecture and code reviews, and drive development best practices in a global, collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years software engineering/development experience.
• 4+ years working on modern front-end JavaScript frameworks.
• 2+ years working in a mature agile environment.
• 1+ years working with AI technologies like Claude or Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications across the stack.
• Lead the delivery of complex technical features from design through deployment.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and quality with observability and monitoring.
• Champion engineering best practices and continuous delivery via CI/CD and automated testing.
• Mentor and support other developers, contributing to code reviews and problem solving.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, marketing, analytics, and compliance teams to deliver secure, impactful digital experiences.
