Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Boston seeks a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design interfaces, APIs, and backend logic for scalable web applications. You will implement design patterns, automation, and testing to ensure high-quality delivery.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 5 years of AEM experience, with a hybrid work arrangement from the Boston office (3 days in, 2 at home). Salary is commensurate with experience and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6x.

Responsibilities

• Design end-user interfaces, databases, APIs and server-side logic for full-stack applications.
• Apply disciplined coding practices to enable agility and deliver high-quality code.
• Apply design patterns, automation, and semantic versioning where applicable.
• Use development frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Conduct a wide range of tests and analyses to meet end-user requirements.
• Create prototype designs for products using various techniques.
• Complete documentation for deployments, maintenance and support.
• Perform peer reviews of code and deliverables and promote continuous learning.
