Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using .NET on the backend and React on the frontend. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.

The role focuses on digital transformation, legacy modernization, improved user experience, data-driven decisions, and cloud/AI-assisted tooling to boost efficiency, security, and scalability

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience building applications with React.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server or similar).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core).
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including application modernization and process automation.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Support application deployments and post-release issue resolution.
