General Motors Corporation in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and safeguard software for GM's Product Validation, Safety & Quality IT org. You may focus on Java back-ends (Quarkus or Spring Boot) and a Next.js/React portal, or on test automation and quality engineering across pipelines.

You will contribute to Databricks data workflows, evolve relational schemas, and drive scalable design with code reviews, tests, and CI/CD in a hybrid environment

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of production software experience with strong Java/JVM depth.
• Full-stack capability across Next.js/React/TypeScript and Java services.
• Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs with versioning.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain back-end microservices in Java (Quarkus or Spring Boot) with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Build responsive front-end features in Next.js/React with TypeScript.
• Develop Databricks data workflows and manage relational schema changes (Liquibase).
• Write unit/integration/e2e tests and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and participate in observability practices.
