Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer 3 to join a mission-focused team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will contribute across the stack, building scalable REST APIs and data processing workflows that ingest, transform, and present PAI data to analysts.

You’ll collaborate with a small team and a larger development organization, applying Java, NoSQL, and AI-enabled tooling to deliver robust solutions. TS/SCI - Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive Java software development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs and NoSQL data stores.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable REST APIs and data ingest pipelines.
• Work across the stack to enhance visualization and UI.
• Lead end-to-end data processing workflows and storage.
• Mentor teammates and improve development processes.
• Collaborate with analysts and product owners for operational needs.
