Akina Inc is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer 2 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role focuses on Java-based software development to enhance existing capabilities, with agile collaboration across software and systems engineers.

Qualified candidates will have 14+ years in SWE, a CS-related degree (or additional SWE experience in lieu of a degree), and experience with Java, Python, and databases like MongoDB. Clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• 14+ years SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 4 additional SWE years may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development predominantly using Java to enhance existing capabilities.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers in an agile environment to derive user stories and plan development.
• Perform integration and testing as needed.
• Test and debug software for integrated applications.
• Provide tier 2 and 3 support for deployed capabilities and address bugs.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
