CLEAR is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable applications powering its identity platform. You’ll own end-to-end projects, partnering with Product, Design, Security, and Operations to deliver simple, secure, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications with Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals across distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native apps using AWS and Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• History of owning complex cross-functional projects from idea to production with bias for action.
• Excellent communication to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and able to drive work forward independently.
• A collaborative mindset with mentoring passion and focus on measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications powering CLEAR’s identity platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and operational support.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations to translate business problems into scalable solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor teammates through thoughtful code reviews and technical collaboration.
