Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production apps.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infra, and modern architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native apps on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• History of ownership of cross-functional projects from idea to production.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and making tradeoffs to drive progress.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications powering CLEAR's identity platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery through rollout and operations.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Ops to translate business problems into scalable solutions.
• Improve reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable and secure platforms.
• Collaborate through code reviews, technical collaboration, and sharing engineering best practices.
• Drive engineering excellence and maintainability of the platform.
