Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications using Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong technical fundamentals across distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated history of owning complex, cross-functional projects and driving them from idea to production with a bias for action.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications forming the backbone of CLEAR's identity platform.
• Take full ownership of projects end-to-end—from discovery and architecture to implementation, rollout, and support.
• Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions through collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, and developer experience.
• Shape architectural decisions to enhance security, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and engineering best practices.
