Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for our Emerging Products team in the United States. The role focuses on backend Java/Kotlin with proficiency in React/Javascript to build data-driven products.

The position is flexible for remote work within the USA, with hybrid options at our Austin, TX or Tampa, FL offices. Expect collaborative work across data platforms, design, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Java software development for product applications.
• 2+ years of React front-end development experience; building UI components.
• 4+ years of experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development.
• Knowledge of API best practices and REST; GraphQL or gRPC a plus.
• Proficient SQL writing and relational DB design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the API layer powering the product's data experience (REST/GraphQL).
• Develop Java backend to expose data-driven insights and scoring.
• Build and maintain React-based UI components for dashboards and workflows.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews for product lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Contribute to cross-team initiatives and document processes.
