Job summary

Oowlish is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team building impactful solutions in the mental healthcare space. This hands-on role spans full stack work across TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with ownership of features from concept to production and close collaboration with Product and cross-functional teams.

You will work on scalable backend services, cloud deployments (AWS, ECS), and leverage AI tools to optimize development and outcomes, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience building and shipping complex features in production systems.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience contributing to 0 → 1 product development.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred, ECS is a plus).
• Proficiency using AI tools in daily development workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• PASSION or interest in improving mental healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and query optimization.
