Job summary

Trepp, Inc. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer in New York City to join the hybrid-enabled team.

You will work within the Full Stack Group to build APIs, services, and data-driven applications that power analytics for structured finance, commercial real estate, and banking verticals. The role emphasizes user-focused design, performance engineering, and collaboration with product and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5 years of professional programming experience in full stack engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and trade-offs.
• Fundamental understanding of modern testing practices (unit, integration, e2e).
• Strong documentation skills (Markdown, READMEs) and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow agile methodologies and engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop user-centric experiences with a focus on simplicity amid large data sets.
• Act as a technical leader when needed and switch between projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to performance engineering for Browser and API server layers.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into actionable engineering work.
