Fitch Group is seeking a Senior Engineer – Data Platforms & Full Stack Applications in our New York office. You will join a dynamic Technology & Data Team building enterprise web apps with modern tech stacks including React, Java microservices, and AWS.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, strong SQL, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake; experience with AI-powered coding tools and CI/CD. Hybrid work 2–3 days in office is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3-5 years hands-on AWS data services and Python frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications in an agile team.
• Build internal portal with React, micro-frontends, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Develop Java microservices to back the frontend and Kafka topic processing.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor teammates on React and micro-frontend development.
