Allegion is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, AI Agents & Orchestration in Carmel, IN, with hybrid work options. You will design and operate scalable AI orchestration frameworks, connect multiple models and tools, and implement governance and observability for secure AI systems.

A strong background in data/AI engineering and cloud-native architectures is required. You will collaborate across enterprises to accelerate AI-enabled capabilities, improve governance, and enhance developer experience

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in data/AI/ML software and related disciplines.
• Strong experience building large-scale data pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, APIs, and deploying RESTful services at scale.
• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for AI Workload Orchestration Platform.
• Design AI orchestration frameworks coordinating models, agents, tools, and APIs.
• Develop agent-to-agent and human-in-the-loop workflows for complex processes.
• Lead MLOps deployment, monitoring, versioning, and governance for AI systems.
• Build scalable data pipelines and reusable AI platform components.
