Job summary

Allied Solutions LLC in Carmel, IN seeks aSenior Software Engineer to develop and support application components, coach engineers, and lead technical initiatives. You will participate in design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring to elevate team skills and software quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 5-7 years of Software Engineering experience required
• Extensive proficiency with C#, JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, web services, .NET Core, MVC, Windows/Worker services, DevOps CI/CD, SQL, NoSQL databases
• Extensive understanding of SDLC and Agile concepts
• Ability to create flow diagrams and design robust software architectures

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and develop improvement strategies
• Design, build, and implement new applications and websites; migrate legacy apps to the web
• Collaborate with team to improve existing systems and prioritize front-end backlog
• Research and propose software products to support procurement and development
• Lead code reviews to elevate team skills and software quality
• Mentor less experienced developers and ensure successful outcomes
• Design architecture for smaller projects and assist architecture teams on larger efforts
• Conduct research and make recommendations on tools and technologies for procurement
