Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to own our modeling tool ecosystem, develop plugins for MagicDraw/Cameo, and enable data analytics dashboards from Teamwork Cloud Server data.

You will work across Java/Spring Boot back-end and React/Angular front-end, contribute to DevOps with GitHub Actions and potentially Jenkins, and deploy on GCP/OpenShift. You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineers to build scalable APIs, automate builds, tests, and deployments, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 10+ years as a Full Stack Developer.
• Deep proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs, FAST APIs and Stream APIs.
• Experience developing applications or scripts using Python.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and data analytics libraries (Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow).
• Strong experience deploying and managing apps on GCP (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Firestore).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and modern frameworks (React, Angular).
• Experience deploying/managing apps on OpenShift; Docker knowledge; Terraform for infra; Github Actions; Tekton/Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with 42Crunch, FOSSA, Cycode, SonarQube; Git version control.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop applications and scripts using Python and VS Code for automation or data processing.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with JavaScript using React or Angular; use Node.js for tooling.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Tekton and Jenkins.
• Deploy and monitor applications on OpenShift and GCP, including serverless options and databases.
• Use Terraform and GitHub Actions to manage infrastructure and automation.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components and collaborate with product teams.
• Write clean, well-tested code and perform automated testing across stack layers.
• Tackle performance bottlenecks, debug issues, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge.
