Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Sr. Full Stack Developer to own the modeling tool ecosystem, build plugins for Teamwork Cloud, and create data dashboards.

You will influence backend services in Java/Spring Boot and frontend work in React/Angular, with a focus on automation, AI/ML, and cloud deployment in GCP/OpenShift. You will join a hybrid team in Enterprise Technology, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions and high-quality software across

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful/FAST/Stream APIs.
• Python proficiency for automation/data tasks.
• Experience with GCP and OpenShift.
• Strong front-end skills (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Knowledge of AI/ML and data analytics libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Tekton/Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Terraform for infra deployment.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop front-end interfaces with React or Angular and Node.js tooling.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage apps on OpenShift and GCP, including storage and services.
• Collaborate with product, design and other engineers across the lifecycle.
• Write clean, well-tested code and maintain automated tests.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews.
