Workstream in Lehi, Utah is hiring a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our mission-driven team building an HR, payroll, and hiring platform for the deskless workforce. You will develop scalable features, partner with PMs and engineers, and help deliver high‑quality software.

The role emphasizes TDD, cross‑functional collaboration, and staying current with cloud technologies such as AWS; experience with Next.js is a bonus. This hybrid role typically requires 3–7+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript for full‑stack apps.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong test‑driven development (TDD) and CI/CD discipline.
• English communication; bilingual in English/Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack features in collaboration with Product Managers and engineers.
• Deliver well‑scoped product features across cross‑functional teams.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for and practice test‑driven development to ensure high‑quality software.
• Keep up with latest technologies and cloud practices.
