Job summary

Workstream is hiring a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team in a hybrid role with 1–2 days in the Lehi, Utah office. You will develop scalable, cloud-based features for our HR, payroll, and hiring platform, collaborating with product and GTM teams.

You should have 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering, strong TDD practices, and expertise with SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS, and distributed systems. Knowledge of Next.js is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated design of distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features in a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with PMs, EMs, and engineers to deliver scoped features.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for and practice TDD to ensure quality software.
• Communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
