Job summary

Carrum Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, and optimization of our web and mobile applications. You will work primarily with Ruby on Rails in a service-oriented architecture, building scalable APIs and services, and collaborating with React/React Native frontends.

You will drive performance improvements through code reviews, architecture decisions, and evolving development processes, partnering with Data and DevOps teams on AWS deployments and observability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development in a robust, highly available ecosystem.
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails, React, and Docker.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL data modeling.
• Expertise with core AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3).
• Demonstrated leadership through code reviews and system design sessions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
