Job summary

Assort Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help us build scalable healthcare products. You will work with Product, Design, Operations, customers, and teammates to deliver features across the stack, from UI to APIs and data models.

This full-stack role emphasizes backend work, but you’ll touch frontends and integrations. You should thrive in ambiguity, own your work, and help ship MVPs through to mature products while ensuring HIPAA compliance and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of industry experience with impact at a major tech company or a high-growth startup.
• Strong engineering fundamentals to design, build, and scale production-grade applications or systems.
• Experience building full-stack web applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, operations and customers to design and ship scalable features.
• Own end-to-end delivery from MVP to mature product.
• Work across UI, APIs, data models, and third-party integrations to solve real-world healthcare challenges.
• Develop scalable software that complies with HIPAA and other security standards.
