AKQA Sweden is seeking an established fullstack engineer to lead end-to-end development on client projects. You will craft production-quality web apps using Next.js, React, and headless CMS platforms, while ensuring accessibility, performance, and security.

5+ years of industry experience in fullstack web development.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on development on medium-to-large scale client projects.
Work closely with UX, Design, Strategy, and Delivery to solve implementation challenges and turn creative visions into performant code.
Support team members' growth by sharing knowledge, conducting code reviews, and fostering an open learning culture.
Understand client business goals to architect and implement the right technical solutions.
Own code quality end-to-end, ensuring solutions are accessible, performant, secure, and thoroughly tested.
Active practitioner of Lean & Agile methodologies with a focus on continuous delivery and improvement.
Frontend & Frameworks mastery with Next.js and React.
Experience with headless CMS platforms and search/indexing tools.
Build with serverless APIs, Hasura for GraphQL backends, and hosted databases.
Deploy on Vercel; integrate with Azure/AWS/GCP as needed.
Leverage AI developer tools and Vercel AI SDK for AI-driven features.
Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Vitest, Playwright, Cypress), and i18n support.
Mobile development with React Native and Expo is a plus.
Experience with ecommerce integrations and payments; some knowledge of web animation tools.
