Job summary

Stretto is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer in Irvine, CA to design, develop, and maintain the front-end and back-end of enterprise applications. You will work with a cross-functional team to own features end-to-end, optimize performance, and address security and stability concerns.

The role emphasizes scalable Java-based services, modern frontend tech, and AWS cloud work, with opportunities to contribute to a broad range of fiduciary and legal tech products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, JSF, Hibernate, Spring JPA, Node.js.
• Frontend tech: JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Angular, CSS, HTML.
• Experience with AWS and serverless: EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Good problem-solving and adaptability.
• Experience with AI tools like Claude Code, Amazon Kiro, GitHub Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
• Own end-to-end feature development from concept to deployment.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and stability issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
