Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our client's team at the offices in Irvine, CA. The client is one of the world’s largest investment management companies, managing close to $2 trillion in assets, headquartered in Southern California.

You will collaborate with business teams, analysts, and architects, translate requirements into technical solutions, and contribute across the full delivery lifecycle using Java/JEE, Angular and Spring/Hibernate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Proficiency in Angular.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with Spring/Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of GoF patterns and SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of test coverage metrics.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical solutions with business teams.
• Work daily with developers, designers, and IT teams across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Develop and present recommendations based on analysis of existing solutions.
• Lead Java/JEE development to meet specifications and best practices.
• Participate in design and code peer reviews, unit testing, and functional enhancements.
• Identify refactoring opportunities and contribute to development process improvements.
• Estimate effort, break down tasks, and identify implementation risks.
• Produce clear technical design documents for client-facing and internal audiences.
