Zoro.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to own full-stack work across the Buy product experience. You will build fast, accessible UIs and robust APIs that drive secure order submission, confirmation, and recovery.

You’ll collaborate with product, UX, analytics, and platform teams to simplify the purchase flow and improve reliability, with a focus on performance and quality. You will mentor peers, design resilient systems, and contribute to SEO and Engage features as needed in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating customer-facing full-stack web apps at scale.
• Production-grade React/Vue apps using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Backend development with Python and API/services.
• Experience crafting systems with relational/distributed data stores and cloud-native delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, end-to-end cart/checkout and order-confirmation features from design to production metrics.
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant UI using modern web frameworks.
• Design and operate resilient APIs and order-management services.
• Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure purchase flows with proper error handling and retries.
• Collaborate with product, UX, analytics, and platform teams to ship cohesive customer outcomes.
• Contribute to SEO/Engage initiatives when needed and mentor teammates.
