Canopy in Draper, UT, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to advance a world-class practice-management platform for accounting professionals. You’ll collaborate in a small squad with engineers, a PM, a UX designer, and QA, shipping features end-to-end with a mix of frontend and backend work.

This role supports remote work for Utah residents, uses a microservices and micro-frontend stack, and offers strong growth, mentoring, and an energetic, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development across frontend and backend
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Experience with Python/Java/Kotlin and SQL/REST
• Familiar with TypeScript, Git, and testing frameworks
• Experience with AI coding assistants and high-quality code
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with PM, UX designer, engineers and customers to define new features end-to-end
• Build user-facing experiences in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Design and implement REST API endpoints and microservices with Python or Java
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain quality
• Own builds and deployments to staging and production using Docker, GitLab and Kubernetes
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical debt across the stack
• Mentor teammates and share what you learn through trainings
• Contribute to AI-driven tooling to improve quality and efficiency
