Canopy is a fast-growing SaaS startup in Draper, Utah building modern software for accounting firms. We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a collaborative squad and impact our practice management platform.

You will work on a microservices backend and micro-frontend architecture, shipping to production multiple times a day. You’ll develop in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for the frontend, with Python/Java for the backend and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with frontend/backend exposure.
• Strong JS/TS and React experience.
• Backend experience in Python, Java, or Kotlin with REST design.
• Familiarity with modern tooling and testing frameworks.
• Experience with AI coding assistants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build user facing experiences in React/TS.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews.
• Own deployments to staging and production with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Mentor teammates and share learnings.
