Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Financial Center modernization effort. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement innovative digital solutions for desktop and iPad platforms, delivering robust features with quality and maintainability in mind.

You will work across UI and back-end layers, participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing, and mentor teammates to sustain engineering excellence and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with HTML/JavaScript/CSS, JQuery, Angular, Handlebars, Node.js.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot microservices and Spring framework knowledge.
• Experience with unit/integration testing: JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Develop front-end, back-end, API, and microservices components as required.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and resolve defects and production issues.
• Monitor application health, performance, and operational stability.
