Job summary

New York City Economic Development Corporation is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and support full‑stack business apps and dashboards. You’ll work across the lifecycle, align with tech standards, and collaborate with business partners and technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in enterprise software, data platforms, and dashboards.
• 6+ years in project management, SDLC, and requirements gathering.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, SQL, .NET Full Stack with C# and Python.
• Proficient with Visual Studio, Telerik, Aspose, Nintex, Azure Dev Ops, and API integrations.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and BI practices.
• Power BI dashboards with KPIs, DAX, and Tabular Editor.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams; NYC residency required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, implementation, and delivery of enterprise information systems.
• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy enterprise tech initiatives.
• Enhance applications, integrations, and data governance processes.
• Support data management, dashboards, BI, data quality, and governance activities.
• Monitor project status and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Prepare project documentation, requirements, test plans, and user guides.
• Provide analytical and operational support to ensure systems meet requirements.
