Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance the UI/UX layer of the Enterprise Data Governance Platform and Control Plane. You will design and build scalable full‑stack applications that integrate with metadata, analytics, and governance tools across the enterprise.

The role covers front-end, back-end, API design, and DevOps practices. You will influence architecture, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help shape a platform used throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of application development or full-stack engineering experience.
• 1+ year of Go and/or Python development experience.
• Experience building production web applications.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure) and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications for Humana's Information Marketplace platform.
• Build modern front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and state management frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js and related technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into maintainable software solutions.
• Contribute to microservices architecture focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and governance teams.
• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Stay current with modern development frameworks and tooling.
