Job summary

Beezwax Datatools, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer for full stack JavaScript work, owning the delivery pipeline from application code to CI/CD and cloud deployments.

This hybrid role requires in‑office days in Cupertino, San Diego, or Austin, and collaboration across client projects, open‑source contributions, and mentoring.

You will write tests, review code, and help shape Beezwax’s tooling and open‑source efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional web development experience.
• 4-6 years of experience with JavaScript development (React, TypeScript, Node.js).
• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript best practices, with a commitment to writing well-tested code.
• Experience with deploying containerized services to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and engineering tooling.
• Familiarity with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Communication skills that excel not only with engineers, but also with project managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Web development for client and internal projects.
• Implement best practices (testing, code quality, code review process, git flow, etc.).
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to peer reviews.
• Help us write open-source tools that Beezwax can maintain.
• Write technical blog posts.
