Job summary

Novul Solutions in Ashburn, VA seeks an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a DHS/CBP program. You will design, develop, and maintain real-time, scalable applications for CBP mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include building backend services with Java/Spring, microservices and REST APIs; supporting cloud migration, containerization, AI/ML integration, and secure auth with JWT; working in Agile/SecDevOps with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant experience, or 4 additional years of related work in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen with DoD TS clearance or DHS Full BI; CBP background checks required.
• 3+ years cloud-ready app development and/or cloud migration experience.
• 2+ years frontend experience in React, Angular, Redux, HTML/CSS/JSX/Bootstrap, JWT, JSON.
• 2+ years with microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern web tech.
• Experience with AI/ML in the software lifecycle is preferred.
• DevSecOps with Agile Scrum, SecDevOps, automated testing, CI/CD; containerized apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack apps for DHS/CBP.
• Build backend services with Java, Spring, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Modernize apps for cloud readiness, containers, and cloud migration.
• Incorporate AI/ML into the software lifecycle and mission solutions.
• Implement secure auth with JWT and participate in architecture and testing.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum and SecDevOps environments with CI/CD.
