Job summary

Kinomatic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of a cloud-based surgical planning, visualization, and patient recovery platform. This senior IC role requires deep full-stack capability, ownership, and technical leadership across frontend, backend, cloud, data, and 3D applications.

You will help shape architecture, standards, and engineering practices while collaborating with Product and cross-functional teams to translate complex clinical problems into scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with TypeScript and React.
• Strong backend development experience with Go.
• Relational database design and PostgreSQL optimization.
• Experience with cloud-native applications on AWS or similar platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong API design, authentication, authorization, security knowledge.
• Excellent software architecture and system design skills.
• Experience building interactive 3D applications and foundational 3D graphics concepts.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and support production software across frontend, backend, cloud, data, and interactive 3D applications.
• Lead technical design and implementation for features and system components from definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Grow into ownership of major platform areas and drive architecture decisions.
• Contribute to architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and discussions.
• Mentor engineers and improve engineering practices across the team.
• Partner with Product to align technical work with business objectives.
• Make sound technical decisions amid ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools within validated engineering workflows.
