Job summary

Intuitive, a leader in robotic-assisted surgery, seeks an entry-level Software Engineer to help design and build an internal AI-powered platform. You will contribute to frontend and backend work (Python and React/TypeScript) and integrate AI capabilities with guidance from senior engineers.

You’ll collaborate with business teams to translate workflows into features, participate in design reviews and sprint planning, and follow secure coding practices in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Relevant coursework in Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, Cloud Computing, Databases, Software Engineering, or AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend of an internal AI-powered platform.
• Build integrations with cloud services, AI APIs, and internal data sources.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code (Python backend + React/TypeScript frontend).
• Integrate generative AI and LLM capabilities into the platform.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate workflows into features.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and progress communication.
• Follow secure authentication practices and data governance.
