Job summary

Kinomatic seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help build our cloud-based surgical planning, visualization, and patient recovery platform. This senior IC role spans frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, data, and AI-enabled workflows, with opportunities to lead major architectural areas.

You will mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable, scalable software that meets clinical needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Strong full-stack development with TypeScript/React and Go backend.
• Experience with cloud-native applications on AWS and CI/CD
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents
• Familiarity with medical imaging or HIPAA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and support production software across frontend, backend, cloud, data, and 3D modules.
• Lead technical design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Mentor engineers and drive implementation for major platform areas.
• Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to translate business problems into solutions.
