Job summary

HHAeXchange is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead full-stack development across C#/.NET backend, TypeScript/Angular frontend, and database work on SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

You will mentor engineers, write design documents, and drive the integration of HL7, FHIR, and X12 EDI to enable secure healthcare data exchange in a regulated environment.

This full-time, exempt role supports EST/CST availability in the US with a base salary range of $150,000-$160,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering.
• 3+ years building healthcare software with PHI under HIPAA.
• Strong production experience with C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.
• Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, data modeling and query optimization.
• Cloud experience with AWS.
• Git, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Secure coding practices and handling sensitive data.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to plan and organize work across multiple teams.
