Job summary

Soap Creek Resources seeks a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to build and own innovative SaaS features from concept to production. You’ll craft scalable systems using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, while shaping APIs and data models with an emphasis on quality and reliability.

You’ll collaborate with an experienced team and leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing SaaS or web-based products.
• Strong hands-on skills with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based development.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design through testing, deployment, and enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Own production performance, quality, and scalability.
