Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a mission-driven SaaS team in Columbus, OH. You will build and own features end-to-end, leveraging Rails, React/TS, and PostgreSQL, while shaping architecture and APIs. Expect to collaborate with AI-powered tooling and strong engineering leadership.

You will mentor peers, improve production performance, and influence development practices to deliver scalable, high-quality software over time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally developing SaaS or web-based products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning software features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Help shape technical design decisions, application architecture, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to help establish and evolve modern, AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
