Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a mission-driven SaaS company located in the United States. You will own features end-to-end, building scalable SaaS applications with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

You will collaborate with a Principal Engineer, mentor teammates, and help shape API design and architecture while embracing AI-assisted development to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS/web products.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning features from design through production and deployment.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and productivity.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to establish and evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of production performance, quality, and scalability.
