Job summary

Oath is seeking driven full-stack software engineers to join our team, focusing on fundraising tools, admin dashboards, and secure Python APIs. You will own data ingestion pipelines and payments integrations with Stripe and other partners, while ensuring scalable data models and reliable production systems.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in full-stack web apps, strong Python, TypeScript/React skills, and experience with Auth0 or similar identity providers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering, full-stack web apps.
• Strong Python; production APIs; FastAPI is a plus; Django/Flask familiarity.
• Solid PostgreSQL data modeling, tuning, migrations, HA concepts.
• Experience with Celery and Redis for background jobs.
• Production payments experience, Stripe preferred; reliable third-party integrations.
• Hands-on Auth and RBAC; Auth0 or similar identity providers a plus.
• Frontend: TypeScript and React; Next.js and Vercel a plus.
• Observability with Datadog; on-call readiness.
• Ownership: ship features end-to-end in small teams.
• AI-assisted development: effectively use AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Own major areas end to end: fundraising tools and admin dashboards.
• Design and build Python APIs: secure, well-tested services.
• Own data ingestion: pipelines from vendors, APIs, flat files, scraping.
• Build reliable payments and vendor integrations: Stripe, others.
• Evolve data layer for scale with Postgres, Redis, background jobs.
• Keep production healthy: monitor, on-call, incident response.
• Partner with product and design to shape features, surface tradeoffs.
• Raise the team's quality bar: code reviews and conventions.
