Job summary

Teamworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to unify CPP products on a shared technical foundation. You will own architecture decisions, build reusable services, and collaborate with product, data, and design teams in a full‑stack capacity.

You will lead complex projects, design APIs and UI components in Python and TS, and improve testing/CI/CD practices. The role supports in‑person or hybrid work from the Indianapolis/Noblesville area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including JavaScript and Python.
• Own system design and architecture decisions, not only implementing designs created by others.
• Strong API design, UI/UX, data modeling, testing, and production reliability.
• Experience leading complex technical projects through delivery and explaining tradeoffs to technical and cross‑functional partners.
• Substantial hands‑on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience leveraging agentic AI workflows and tools as part of the software development process.
• Ability to work in person or hybrid from the Indianapolis/Noblesville, IN area.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and system design decisions for shared CPP services and product capabilities.
• Lead complex projects from technical discovery through implementation and release.
• Design and build reusable APIs, backend services, and front-end components/UI in Python and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations across CPP products.
• Improve automated testing and CI/CD practices so the team can ship changes confidently.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and align teams around practical technical standards.
