Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Engineer to move ideas from prototype to production for an initial cohort of customers. You will build end-to-end web experiences and cloud services, leveraging AI agents and modern tooling to accelerate development while ensuring security, privacy, and compliance.

You will collaborate across Product, Design, Research, Data Science, and customer teams to deliver measurable outcomes in a primarily remote role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience, with ownership of full-stack web apps shipped to production.
• Strong front-end skills with React/Next.js, UI frameworks, WCAG 2.2, and scalable design systems.
• Strong backend skills building APIs with REST/GraphQL, authentication/authorization, and versioning across .NET/Node.js/Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end product experiences across modern web apps and cloud services.
• Rapidly prototype concepts and graduate successful prototypes into secure, scalable production services.
• Design and manage AI-powered capabilities (RAG, context shaping, personalization).
• Build or leverage API-first, versioned REST microservices with consistent interfaces.
