Job summary

Straive Pvt Ltd is seeking a hands-on senior software engineer to join the client’s in-house engineering team migrating a clinical learning platform and integrating AI-powered features. You will code, shape technical design, mentor peers, and collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders.

You will design and build front-end, back-end, and API components with TypeScript, Node.js, and React; integrate LLM APIs; model data and optimize SQL; lead technical discussions in Agile sprints; and act as

Qualifications

7+ years in software engineering with strong hands-on full-stack work.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and React.
Experience designing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and using prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain front-end, back-end and API components using TypeScript, Node.js and React.
Build and integrate AI features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar).
Design data models and write optimized SQL.
Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor junior engineers.
Work in Agile sprints with US teams: refinement, estimation and status updates.
Act as first point of escalation for complex technical issues in your area.
