Job summary

Tenant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to shape the core platform for property managers across the US. You will architect full-stack features with Node.js, React, and AWS, while mentoring an engineering team and driving the SDLC from design to production support.

You will lead AI-driven development initiatives, adopt scalable patterns, and collaborate with CTO and Product leadership. The role is primarily onsite in Irvine with a flexible 1-day work-from-home option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics & Communication, or Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years driving AI-driven development, testing, deployment in complex codebases; Claude Code preferred.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and a modern frontend framework (React preferred).
• Strong SQL skills with MySQL, Postgres, and AWS RDS; relational DB design and optimization.
• Hands-on AWS experience: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, serverless patterns.
• Proficiency in Python for automation; familiarity with design patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and managing cross-functional priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Unix/Linux systems experience; Git-based version control workflows.
• Excellent communication bridging Engineering, Product, and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead development of full-stack features across our SaaS platform using Node.js, React, and AWS.
• Own the full SDLC from design to testing and production support.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and set technical standards.
• Drive cloud infrastructure decisions on AWS and serverless patterns.
• Establish and enforce development best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership.
