Job summary

Red Cell Partners is hiring a Senior/Staff Full Stack Software Engineer in the United States to build and support interfaces, APIs, and integrations for government-focused programs. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with partner engineers, Product, TPM, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable software.

The role emphasizes hands-on development across frontend and backend, with strong emphasis on security, auditability, and compliance in federal environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with production applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development across modern web frontends, backends, APIs, and databases.
• Strong backend engineering skills in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Java, or similar language, incl. API design and integration.
• Experience designing data models, relational databases, migrations, caching, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, secure API access, secrets handling, and audit logging.
• Hands-on testing, code review, Git, containers, CI/CD, and deploying in cloud/Kubernetes environments.
• Strong technical judgement, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve implementation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features for partners across UI, backend, data models, and integrations.
• Clarify use cases with partners, define acceptance criteria, and deliver increments.
• Integrate partner apps with Trase OS APIs, SDKs, and external endpoints.
• Develop reliable agent and workflow integrations with retries and error handling.
• Create configurable interfaces for agents, connections, and run reviews; audit history.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and audit events across services.
• Adapt configurations for customer-managed cloud and on-prem environments; coordinate DevOps.
• Own quality via tests, reviews, and end-to-end validations; validate in target environments.
• Diagnose defects across UI, APIs, data stores, and runtime services; add telemetry.
• Document architecture and troubleshooting; mentor other engineers.
• Support releases, upgrades, and security fixes with platform teams.
