Job summary

Xplor Technologies seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end development across frontend and backend layers. You will implement ideas from concept to release using PHP, Symfony/Laravel, HTML5, and modern JS frameworks, while ensuring code quality and security.

You will collaborate with QA and other engineers, refactor legacy code, and deliver reliable features with tests. AWS experience and Agile mindset are a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or MIS preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with PHP and modern frameworks (Symfony/Laravel).
• Strong HTML5/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery, Vue) and CSS preprocessors.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based web apps is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Work on front end and back end technologies across projects.
• Translate design docs into functional, releasable code.
• Collaborate with QA and team members, maintain tests.
• Refactor legacy code toward open standards and testable code.
• Provide timely bug fixes and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Own your tasks, set deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
