Job summary

Agiloft is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-moving, ambitious team building enterprise software. You will collaborate with designers, AI experts, and fellow engineers to deliver high-stakes solutions.

The role focuses on Python/JavaScript, React, and cloud-native, serverless architectures, with emphasis on code quality, test coverage, and scalable product delivery. You will mentor juniors, participate in incident response, and help integrate LLM APIs to enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building full-stack apps in Python and JavaScript with a modern frontend framework (React preferred).
• Proficiency with AI tools in the SDLC (e.g., GitHub Copilot, JetBrains AI Assistant).
• Experience building modern, cloud-native applications using serverless technology (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Comfort working with product managers and designers to refine requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Git, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Docker, ECS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Agile product team experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full stack applications in our suite of enterprise software products
• Work with product managers and designers to brainstorm bottom-up solutions to novel problems
• Collaborate with AI engineers to efficiently utilize commercial large language model (LLM) APIs
• Continuously improve the code quality, extensibility, and test coverage of software projects
• Improve internal developer tools, workflows, and best practices to enhance team efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the entire application stack
• Mentor junior team members
• Participate in incident response and disaster recovery efforts
• Other duties as assigned
