Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a mission-driven SaaS company building innovative software solutions. You’ll own features from design to production and help shape the technical direction.

You’ll work with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL on AWS, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity. You’ll mentor peers and influence engineering practices in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning software features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from initial design through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Help shape technical design decisions, application architecture, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and productivity.
• Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to establish AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of production performance, quality, and scalability.
